Yard Administration Co-ordinator
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced office manager or operations administrator, who is looking for a challenging, but rewarding new role to make their own.
The role
- provide effective and efficient administration support to our yard, plant and workshop managers and supervisors
- oversee the day-to-day co-ordination of staff and works across the team
- build and maintain excellent relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure we receive the best possible prices and service
- co-ordinate schedules and tracking systems for maintenance, servicing, and inventory
- actively seek ways to streamline current ways of working which will help to continuously improve the department’s performance
What you need
- significant experience in a similar role and comparable industry
- outstanding planning/organisational skills
- effective communication / interpersonal skills
- ability to work proactively and on own initiative
- proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- resilient and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- willingness to adapt and develop own skillset and knowledge of the industry
- previous experience working in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this

The package
- Salary from £26k to £32k per annum, DOE
- 37.5 hours / 5 days, Monday to Friday
- 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
