MRF (Plant) Supervisor
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, suitably experienced candidate to join our team and oversee our busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).
The role
- manage the day-to-day operations effectively and work with the wider operational management team to ensure productivity is maximised
- work with the wider operations team to co-ordinate plant maintenance activity that supports optimum performance and quality and minimizes downtime
- ensure all operations are conducted in a manner which fully complies with Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and all other relevant legislation
- develop and motivate team members and manage performance, attendance, training, standards and conduct
What you need
- experience working within the recycling, waste, or comparable plant industries
- experience in and competency of operating static and mobile plant machinery
- understanding of the waste management industry and related legislation
- in-depth knowledge of material handling/ processing in an area such as waste management, chemical processing, or manufacturing
- excellent decision-making with the ability to quickly assess issues and recommend or implement solutions
- excellent communications skills and ability to build good working relationships at all levels

The package
- Competitive salary starting from £37,050 per annum DOE
- 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturdays 7am-12pm
