HGV Class 2 Driver
We are looking for experienced and proactive Class 2 drivers to expand our team of dedicated staff!
The role
- to drive our company vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- to collect and deliver various sizes of skips and containers across our local areas
- to complete documented pre-use checks on the vehicle and report any issues identified
- to liaise and communicate effectively with customers, members of the public and various site functions
- to represent the company in an appropriate and professional manner
- to complete the daily work schedule in line with the customer and company objectives
What you need
- valid Class 2 category driving licence
- proven working experience as a HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations
- able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative in a fast-paced, high-volume operation
- previous experience working as a HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this
- good written and verbal communication skills
- reliability, punctuality and good levels of attendance are a must

The package
- Starting at £13.50 per hour, potential to increase up to £16.00 per hour with training and performance
- 48.75 hours per week, Mon to Fri 6.45am-5.30pm, plus alternate Sat 7am-12.30pm
- Full training on our vehicles provided, with incremental increases offered on completion of training
